Clyde Dale Morgan 8/14/2018
Clyde Dale Morgan 68 of Burleson, TX passed from this life on August 14, 2018 in a local hospital after battling a long illness.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Morgan of Burleson, TX, daughter Kathy Pizana Morgan and son David Morgan both of San Antonio, TX, and several grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Ron Morgan and wife Ana Marie of Oregon, Kevin Morgan and wife Kerri of Kennewick, WA, sisters Morgan Martinet and husband Brian of Kent, WA, Fern Stroble and husband Pat of Quilcene, WA and Linda (Mo) Larsen and husband Roy of Covington, WA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was a wonderful husband who loved his family.

He was a friend to all who knew him. He will surely be missed.

He was proceeded in death by his oldest son Shawn Morgan of San Antonio, parents Clyde and Mary Morgan of Eltopia WA, and brothers Gary and Dennis Morgan.

Clyde Dale was retired from the Army after 20 years and was a Viet Nam Vet. He loved military history, and motorcycle riding. He was a member of TX XXI Blue Knights motorcycle club since 2004. His dream was to get healthy again so he could continue to “Ride with Pride”.

Dick Erwin 1/15/2016
Dick K. Erwin, 78, passed from this life into the presence of his Lord and Savior on January 15, 2016. He was born January 13, 1938 in Upshur County, TX to John H. Erwin and Ada Simpson Erwin. Dick is preceded in death by son, Alan Kent Erwin; by parents, John H. Erwin and Ada Erwin; by brothers John H. Erwin, Jr. and Jack D. Erwin and step-son, Mike Naylor. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Linda Erwin; children: Sandra Brayer (Corey), Kristy Brandt (Kevin), David Erwin (Paula), and their mother Opal Erwin, step-son William Fulghum, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. After graduating from Harmony High School and one year at Texas A&M University, Dick served in the U.S. Army before transferring to the Texas National Guard where he served an additional twenty-seven years attaining the rank of Command Sergeant Major. He joined the Dallas Police Department in 1963 and retired in 1995, the last twenty-eight years of which were spent as a motorcycle officer. During this time he also graduated from Sam Houston State University. After retirement from the City of Dallas, he joined the Ellis County Sheriff’s Department where he served for three years before complete retirement. A man of great faith, Dick loved to ride his motorcycle, to work in his garden, to travel to historic places and spend time with family and friends.

Dick was a member of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement motorcycle Club Chapter TX XXI in Waxahachie.
